and donate blood in honor of PFC Benjamin E. Lightner.

Benjamin is a 19 year old New Bloomfield resident whose convoy was hit by an IED (improvised

explosive device) while he was serving in Afghanistan. Benjamin was initially treated in Germany for foot

and leg injuries. He is currently being treated at Walter Reed Hospital where his recovery is expected

to be lengthy. Benjamin has used and continues to use blood products as part of his treatment/

recovery. Benjamin’s ‘in honor of’ blood drive is being held on:

There will be cards available for donors to express their sentiments to Benjamin. Potential donors need to be at least 17 years old and

weigh at least 110 pounds. Sixteen year-olds may donate in Pennsylvania with written parental permission. Permission slips will be

available at the blood drive.

MDA Ride May 4, 2008

 
Hello All
    the Central Pa Chapter of Wind & Fire MC well be meeting before the MDA ride/parade. I am forwarding this to several members of the Red Knights MC as an invite to their members to eat and ride with us.

Location: Cocoa Diner
Directions: exit Rt 322 toward Hershey Park, turn LEFT at first light. Turn Left at second light into
                 strip mall parking lot. Diner is at the end of the row.
 
Remember to get your MDA packets at your local HD Dealer. Packet return day is this Saturday 26 Apr. 08.
 
 
As I understand it, IAFF Local 428 will be hosting a hospitality room at the Hershey Lodge both Friday & Saturday for a few hours each night. The MDA "Riders Appreciation Party is Saturday 3 May, from 6 til Midnight.
